ABOUT JOANNA:
Joanna is an artist and musician, creating art in many ways. Born and raised
in the UK, she also lived in the US and chose to travel most of her life, living
in India, Bali, Australia and across Europe. Growing up in a musical family,
she played the cello, piano and sang and performed in orchestras and
theatre throughout childhood. After a break in her twenties, she then
explored music through ceremonial spaces and retreats, playing the guitar,
singing and creating sound healing journeys with a range of instruments.
She has been holding retreats, trainings and has been facilitating
in Bali, UK, Ibiza, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Amsterdam, Germany, Switzerland,
Croatia & India over the last few years. Receiving retreat bookings,
performing at Conscious Celebration Festivals, Garden of Light in Ibiza &
Ecstatic Dance UK.
And from Bali and Ibiza, she is now making a home in Portugal where she
shares her work as an Ecstatic Dance DJ, Soundscape Musician & Facilitator.
Her vision is to bring people together in community through the healing
power of dance and music and spread the magic of these powerful
modalities. To awaken the child-like wonder inside of us and the hearts of
many. Movement and medicine that come back to the heart, this is her art.
