ECONYL®
Kuruva leggings are made from econyl, a fabric made entirely from regenerated marine plastics, such as ghost fishing nets and nylon waste.
The @econyl fabric is soft and silky, so soft that you'll have a hard time believing it's made from plastic waste.
The process:
The ECONYL® regeneration system begins with the rescue of waste that would otherwise contaminate the Earth, such as fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet floors and industrial plastics from around the world. This waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover as much nylon as possible.
Through a radical regeneration and purification process, nylon waste is recycled to its original purity. This means that ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as nylon of fossil origin, transformed into threads and polymers so that Kuruva can launch products on the market in a more conscious way.
